Account Manager

Position Summary

As an Account Manager (AM) at Morel Ink, you will be a trusted advisor and partner for our clients, helping them achieve their business goals through our innovative products and services. You will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing existing accounts, and closing sales opportunities. You will also establish and maintain long-lasting customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and deliver on program commitments. You will leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to offer customized solutions and exceptional customer service to our clients. You will act as a customer advocate and a visionary, aligning our offerings with the customers’ needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Find, attract, activate, and retain new and existing Morel Ink customers.

· Identify customer business objectives and demonstrate how Morel Ink products and services meet their needs.

· Build long-term, trusting relationships with customers using a proactive, strategic approach.

· Be an expert in Morel Ink communication solutions, demonstrating how our services are designed to meet clients’ business objectives

· Stay in touch with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products, services, and improvements that may interest them.

· Create strategies to grow, enhance, and maintain long-term profitable customer relationships.

· Maintain communication rhythms with active and non-active clients, including onsite visits

· Meet or exceed sales activity standards (including SOPs) and revenue performance goals.

o Conduct annual nurturing planning for each top account

o One relationship-building touchpoint per month for Top 20 Accounts

· Assist in customer recovery as required; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.

· Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems within Morel Ink’s CRM.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts.

· Engage resources required to support sales implementation and activation efforts.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Ability to multi-task & keep up with a constant high demand workload.

· Proven track record collaborating with cross functional production teams to ensure client expectations are met.

· Finds value in learning the technical aspects of multiple departments to implement creative problem solving.

· Works with minimal supervision.

· Independent decision making.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Proven selling skills and knowledge of value propositions

· Highly collaborative; can take direction and lead a cross-functional team

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated business math skills

Quality Driven Management

· Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

· Work with management to reduce company costs/wastes, to optimize profitability.

· Support Morel Ink’s quality initiatives.

Qualifications

At Morel Ink, we weigh a person’s values with their direct experience and track record of success equally. That said, our ideal candidate may have the following background:

· 5+ years of commercial inside sales experience

· Experience in sales planning, proposals and selling to key decision-makers and executives

· Strong solutions-based selling, presentation and closing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
