Director of Outbound Sales

If you’re a seasoned sales leader looking for an opportunity to make an impact at an organization with a strong brand, then this might be for you! You’ll be accountable to build from scratch an outbound sales team for our public adjusting firm. This role reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer, who will support you with the resources needed to do the work, document the process, refine our approach, and delegate (hire the team).

Role Description

  • Build outbound sales team from scratch, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing.
  • Implement consistent coaching and training cadence, including daily team huddles, weekly 1:1s, and shadowing on sales appointments.
  • Define and train on sales process, including scripts, steps, and data capturing.
  • Hold team accountable to company goals and team KPIs.

Results Within First Year

What would you have accomplished in your first year?

  • Signing large losses through its outbound sales team at a 30% close rate.
  • Signing 10 claims per month from outbound efforts.
  • Scaling outbound team to new territories due to consistent approach being used by the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with fire chasing, and/or other forms of outbound sales in disaster recovery/property damage claims.
  • Been there, done that, with building outbound sales teams in our industry.
  • Proven track record in professional sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Be coachable and committed to regular training and continuous learning, including coaching on sales phone calls and in-person sales presentations.
  • Experience with CRMs, particularly with director-level activities like creating dashboards and managing workflows/integrations, HubSpot is a plus.
  • Have a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
