Position Description: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability in the assigned division. This position manages a team of New Home Consultants, ensuring that they meet their sales targets. This position is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies that will help achieve business objectives.
- Recruit and retain talent for the division sales team.
- Lead and coach a team of sales representatives and ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales management in the construction industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in managing remote sales teams
- Experience in using CRM software
- Knowledge of construction industry trends and regulations
- Ability to travel as needed
