Job Title: Key Account Manager (Remote - Midwest Region)
Job Summary
Q, LLC is seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional for the role of Key Account Manager within our sales department. The Key Account Manager will focus on building strategic relationships with industry resellers and driving revenue opportunities across the Midwest region. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience in the firearms industry. Candidates must reside in the Midwest region to effectively support clients and comply with regional industry regulations. Applications will only be considered from candidates with firearms sales experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Client Management: Offer pull-through marketing support, track inventory, provide product education and demonstrations, and manage ongoing client communications.
- Sales Revenue Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular reports, analyze sales data trends, and forecast potential revenue.
- Prospecting New Accounts: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market reach.
- Event Management: Maintain Buy Group relationships and coordinate Q, LLC's participation in trade shows and industry events.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must reside in the Midwest to support regional clients and adhere to industry regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to travel as required, including multiple trips per month.
- Minimum of 3 years of firearms sales experience (Buy Group experience preferred).
- Comfortable demonstrating and safely handling firearms.
Schedule and Availability
- Standard work hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Additional hours may be required during peak periods or events.
- Regular travel within the Midwest region, with compensation for travel time per applicable regulations.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales and client management experience in the firearms industry.
- Familiarity with business operations, manufacturing, or project management is beneficial.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires a range of physical activities, including regular talking, listening, and using hands to handle objects or tools. It may also involve some standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting and moving of up to 30 pounds. The typical noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
