Local Lumber Company has an Inside Sales Counter opportunity for a knowledgeable building material person. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where relationship building, multi-tasking is critical.
Knowledge of framing lumber, moldings and both interior and exterior doors is required.
Description:
Preparing quotes for potential customers
Handle and process customer orders either by phone, email or in person.
Develop and maintain a working technical knowledge of products sold
Purchasing of special orders for your tickets
Provide accurate and prompt quotes
Help to resolve customer concerns
Maintaining existing customers through relationship building
Qualifications:
Must have a can do, customer service first attitude
Basic math skills
A good memory to be able to retain a working technical knowledge of building materials
Prior experience with building materials is a plus
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
