Position Overview
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager and supported by our National Sales Manager, we are seeking dedicated Account Managers to join our team. This role is focused on delivering new clients to FBC to support our business growth strategy. The Account Manager will work closely with our Marketing team members to build relationships with Members and prospective Members in the communities that we serve, attend appointments, complete needs assessments, and sign-up new Members that can benefit from our services. The successful candidate will have strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual and face to face sales appointments for leads and referrals generated.
- Qualify prospects to determine their fit for FBC.
- Close sales effectively and professionally.
- Provide support and guidance to new clients, as required, during their onboarding process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to establish loyalty, strong retention and generate referrals.
- Address client needs and concerns promptly to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and maintain relationships within the local business community through local events and sponsorships.
What You Will Bring
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated success in building relationships and generating referrals.
- Proven experience in service sales and client experience.
- Proven success in achieving sales quotas.
- Professional service experience preferred.
- Three or more years of outside sales experience.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Accounting or Finance is considered an asset.
Desired Experience:
- Excellent sales and relationship management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet with prospects and attend speaking engagements and events within the communities we serve.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for out-of-town travel. While most trips will be day trips, some overnight travel may occasionally be required.
