Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the wholesale distributor strategy within the assigned geography (Rocky Mountains)
- Develop growth-oriented business plans with distributor. Gain agreement, establishing measure of performance to drive mutual accountability
- Develop and strengthen relationships at key distributors to capitalized on sales and services synergies and leverage operational efficiencies
- Coordinate distributors’ competency development around the ASCO Power Technologies product portfolio and programs
- Implement ASCO System of Management (SOM) in the assigned US sales geography
- Align with Area Sales Teams to increase top line sales and hit rate for the packaged power portfolio
- Clearly articulate business plans and growth strategies internally against stated goals
- Coordinate with Area Sale Manager/Field Sales distributor strategies in the markets
- Understand and define how to implement the national distributor programs within their geography, understand what levers to pull and how to use the resources to succeed in the given geography
- Improve overall package power sales growth for the geography
- High Energy with ability to influence others
- Distribution sales and support expertise
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Travel: Up to 25%
- Four-year technical degree, preferable industrial or engineering related and/or 1 to 3 years Business Development / Sales Experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Visio, Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat
