Yacht sales position at Sundance Yacht Sales

Sundance Yacht Sales is the premier boat dealer in the Pacific NW for cabin cruisers and yachts 20-60 feet. We have been in business since 1972 and run by the Buck family since its inception. Today the boat sales division is managed by the 3rd generation of our family Nick and Brian Buck. We work closely with the sales department at all 3 locations, (Portland, Seattle, Blaine). We office out of Portland which is the corporate headquarters for Sundance.

In this job you will be selling boats that can be overnighted on and have the amenities you are used to at home. The products are between $150,000 to over $2,500,000 dollars. We are selling to societies smartest and most successful. It is a fun industry and fun transaction. Generally our customers are incredibly excited about the boat and you get to be a part of making this dream a reality for them.

While boat experience is helpful. It is definitely not required. Many of our most successful people over time in boat sales have come from automotive and RV. The process is the same, just the dollar amounts are higher and the volume is lower. If you are in automotive and tired of the relentless pace. This is where great automotive people come to spend the rest of their career.

Our brokers earn between $150,000-$350,000 per year in commissions. Income grows over time as your customer base grows over time. We do boat shows in Portland, Seattle and the San Juan Islands. We also have representation at Ft. Lauderdale and Miami boat shows. Our brands are the top selling brands in the industry and are highly sought after.

We are looking for enthusiastic people, that are self starters. Must be personable and disarming. We are not looking for aggressive sales people. More people that are good listeners and good problem solvers to help your customers buy boats and enjoy their experience with the product and with Sundance. You will get to work under and be tutored by 30 year + Sundance sales manager Greg Mathes who is well known and respected throughout the industry.
