Job Description

The Sr. National Sales Manager will work closely with National Sales Managers to lead and direct a sales team and agency partners to achieve growth objectives in the Residential New Construction (RNC) channel. We are looking for someone to develop, implement, and execute builder strategies for all brands through sales KPIs, organizational objectives, and channel/market objectives that are aligned with senior management. This position provides high-level exposure to the RNC channel.

This position will serve our Water Heating division and will be Remote.


  • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve national strategic growth objectives including revenue, margin, expense management, and other objectives as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Grow profitable sales through existing and new accounts.
  • Lead and manage customer relationships and sales efforts.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies as they relate to customers in the RNC channel.
  • Develop annual business plans for individual builders and new/existing markets. Assist regional sales team in the execution of these plans and will continuously monitor and evaluate plan results.
  • Work closely with supporting groups - plumber support and demand generations team to increase revenue and support the RNC sales strategy.
  • Identifies underperforming markets and develops appropriate business strategies to mitigate poor performance.
  • Monitor and report local market programs and pricing conditions. Work closely with the internal resources to maintain a competitive position and maximize Division earnings.
  • Provide input and feedback on products, programs, and overall customer service to Sales and Marketing leaders and other appropriate senior members of division management regularly.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of Field Sales, Business Development, or related.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the building industry.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic plans.
  • Ability to build consensus on key division strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in an independent manner.
  • Must be capable of analyzing and interpreting industry-related regulations/journal
  • Ability to develop customer and area-specific marketing/sales growth plans.
  • Demonstrated skills in business planning and customer analysis required.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, problem-solving, resources management, and time management skills.
  • Strong communicative skills (e.g., business correspondence and professional customer correspondence).
  • Must be capable of traveling extensively, including driving, or flying at least 2-3 days a week, around 60% of the time.

The Pay scale of this role based in Colorado and Washington is $ 116,700 - $198,400. The pay scale for this position in California, New York City, New York or Connecticut is $123,600 - $210,100. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
