Gregg Young Automotive Group is searching for a driven, communicative, competitive & collaborative, customer centric individual who is filled with initiative to become a member of our Variable OperationsTEAM as a Sales Manager at our Chevrolet dealership in Norwalk, IA.

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • managing a team of sales consultants, structuring, and executing the daily game plan while building a cohesive culture based on trust and potential
  • monitor customer lead generation, sales consultant interactions with the customers, and process adherence
  • identify, understand, and affect change to create more vehicle sales, more dealership assisted financing both resulting in higher customer satisfaction
  • constant training of the team of sales consultants on process: customer needs analysis, affordability presentation, negotiations & closing the sale and positioning the customer to take delivery in the finance dept.
  • having a proactive mindset, coupled with the willingness to learn, adjust, grow, and improve continuously driving employee / customer satisfaction
  • provide a world-class customer experience that generates retention & creates a positive ownership experience for our customers
  • building & maintaining relationships with the fellow sales consultants, finance managers, office personnel, fixed operations depts., manufacturer representatives & most importantly the customers
  • friendly competition & inter-group rivalry drive our culture, camaraderie, and performance

Employment Package:

· team oriented - performance based pay plan, including various incentives

· salary + commissions (compensation on the vehicle sale & vehicle financing)

· stackable bonuses & stackable spiffs (progressive based on performance)

· projected annual gross income range: $100,000 - $150,000+

· 50+ hour work week / Monday - Saturday with a dedicated day off during the week plus one Saturday off per month & performance measures resulting in more time off for a better work - life balance!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
