Job Description

Inside Salesperson

Requirements:

  • 3 years of inside sales / customer service distribution experience in the electrical / heating industry
  • Ability to read detailed documents such as specifications and equipment schedules
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of a CRM database
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and externally
  • Top-rate organizational skills - ability to multi-task and manage tasks effectively in fast paced environment
  • Highly competitive and motivated * Solid understanding of sales metrics
  • Creativity and an ability to convey and sell new ideas
  • Strong negotiation skills are preferred

Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

  • Order entry
  • Obtaining quotes from vendors, checking price and delivery, including special pricing
  • Quoting customers
  • Handling customer return process
  • Expediting Orders
  • Purchasing Parts
  • Updating the CRM Database
  • Performing research as needed
  • Customer follow-up
  • Participation in onsite channel partner seminars

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through warm calling to identify their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.
  • Conduct inside sales activities, including product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales effectively while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with customers.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus.
  • Experience in technical sales or inside sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients is crucial for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
