Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales/designer team and drive growth in our custom cabinet division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales/designer team and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and client relationship management. The starting salary will be around $64,000.00 plus commission.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor and motivate the designers/sales team to maximize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to determine customer needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Organize and participate in shows and networking events.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the cabinetry or home improvement industry.
- Proven experience in business development, technical sales, and account management.
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and competitors and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,256.00 - $120,000.00 per year
