An Online Sales Consultant will manage our online sales and assist with online marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential customers online, providing product information, and guiding them through the sales process. This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of our products or services, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, virtual environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to all email and phone leads immediately.
- Qualify leads and make recommendations for best community and floor plans based on customer needs.
- Provide consistent follow-up to online prospects with the goal of setting an appointment with the Onsite Sales Agent.
- Establish and meet monthly sales and appointment setting goals.
- Utilize Lead Management/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Provide information and marketing material to prospects.
- Track and report on lead activity and sales conversion ratios.
- Initiate prospecting phone campaigns with past prospects and real estate agents.
- Continually research the competition and their online activities.
- Ability to work consistently, including some weekends/after hours as necessary.
- Additional responsibilities to assist the marketing department, as needed.
- Interact with potential customers through online channels, including chat, email, and social media.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products or services to effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Guide customers through the online purchasing process, addressing any concerns or queries.
- Proactively reach out to potential customers through various online platforms.
- Utilize online marketing strategies to generate leads and drive sales.
- Maintain accurate records of online interactions and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Provide post-sales support, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive buying experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years sales experience.
- Customer-focused with solid interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on phone and email interaction.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Lead Management/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database experience.
- Persistent follow-up skills with motivation to achieve sales goals.
- Solid organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to learn and follow proven sales process.
- Familiarity with a web-based phone system, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
