Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, results minded Director of Sales who is focused on providing excellent client service as well as growing the business. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the development and implantation of market plans designed to not only increase revenue and profitability but to ensure a positive client experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and team members to promote a positive environment
- Communicate with team members in order to ensure a knowledgeable, friendly and confident client facing staff
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships in all market segments
- Research and maintain knowledge of all market trends, events in the market and future business plans for the area. This requires being part of various organizations and industry networking.
- Acts in an entrepreneurial manner in order to seek out and develop business in resulting in achieving and exceeding revenue goals and profitability
- Solicit and negotiate new business while maintaining current business. This requires prospecting calls, community involvement, client visits and other outreach activities.
- Review and analyze business reports. Make recommendations based on market knowledge
- Assist General Manager with yearly budgets and monthly P&L analysis
- Develop sales and marketing plans
- Work with Revenue Manager to maximize sales and profitability. This includes continuously reevaluating market conditions and competitors' rate.
- Oversee Sales Coordinator
Qualifications
- Social medial savvy
- 2 years as Director of Sales or 3 years in the Senior Sales Manager role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing sales and marketing plans
- Excellent communicator
- Must have strong financial capability as it relates to budgets, revenue management, etc
- Excellent time management skills
