Sales Manager Job Description
Time Staffing is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a position as a Sales Manager for a company based in Toledo, Ohio that makes and sells air filters for multiple markets including automotive, heavy truck, off-highway and residential/industrial HVAC. The parent company is based in Bangkok, Thailand where many of its filters are made and shipped directly to customers in North America or through its own warehouse in Ohio. This company is preparing to grow in North America from its current sales base as part of a global expansion program.
Job Duties
* Develop and execute an overall strategy for product growth in primarily aftermarket segment.
* Responsible for providing periodic reviews on competitive position in the market and recommendations for growth.
* Compile an active list of potential new customers and actively pursue customer sales
* Achieve sales growth targets with new customers in the market
* Work with company global team from product development through to production as needed
* Optimize pricing and competitive offerings to maximize revenue
* Support company team through sourcing/procuring of samples for R&D.
* Assist company in creation and maintenance of product catalogues
* Collaborate with commercial team to develop profitable business cases for customer opportunities and drive the strategy to win new business
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree with a strong emphasis toward Technical/Marketing/Business Disciplines.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Aftermarket market of engineering product in relevant markets
* Experience in working with B2B buyers and B2B management
* Strong overall computer skills with Web, Email, MS Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of aftermarket fundamentals in relevant markets
* Must be a proven self-starter with proven sales track record
* Go-getter and outgoing person; results orientated
Preferred Experience
* Direct sales experience and contacts with target markets and customers
* Experience in a project or team leadership role with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical skills; make educated decisions
* Problem solver; capable of finding creative solutions and seeing through solutions until complete.
* Type: Salary; base salary plus commission
Experience level:
* 5 years minimum
Schedule:
* Full time, salary
* Monday to Friday
Work Location: out of house; USA mainland. Some travel is required primarily in USA depending upon customer.
