A national leader in luxury fitness is looking for a motivated Sales Manager to join our team to lead our studio to success! This position is based in San Ramon, CA.
Position:
The Sales Manager will be part of all studio sales and grassroots marketing operations. The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting studio sales goals, membership renewals, and ancillary service goals by pre-planning with strategic new customer outreach, in-club leads (first-timers), and securing member referrals. Under the management of Franchise Owners and with the support of the Sales team, the Sales Manager must exemplify leadership qualities in all areas of the business. The Sales Manager’s primary focus is to drive sales, coach the Sales team on promos and the current sales strategy, and help the Sales team close sales.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience.
- Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Reps in sales.
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams, including memberships and retail.
- Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, over the phone, and via email
- Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment. Must be solution-based and results-oriented, competitive spirit.
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
- An affinity and passion for fitness.
- Solid writing and grammar skills.
- Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency with computers, CRMs, POS, and other studio management software
- College Degree Preferred.
*This is a part-time position. The candidate MUST be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekend availability.
Duties:
- Lead generation and management, including Grassroots marketing, networking, and social media
- Implement and follow the sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes to convert them into Members.
- Membership sales, including overcoming objections and prospect follow-up
- Follow the LASERR process to convert Leads to Members.
- Strategically manage and engage in marketing efforts and campaigns to generate leads for the studio.
- New member acquisition and converting non-members to membership.
- Build rapport and lasting relationships with all members
- Retain existing members and engage with them in a way that generates referrals
- Handle all member concerns with a solutions-focused attitude in a timely manner
- Train new Sales Associates Team Members on sales
- Supervise Sales Associates’ Team Performance and Drive Results
- Provide a sales strategy for the year and drive month-to-month execution
- Collaborate and align with Studio Owner to set monthly, weekly, and daily revenue and sales targets
- Conduct pre-planning on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure financial targets are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Studio
- Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service
- Enforce studio policies and procedures
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
- Any other duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits:
- This position offers an hourly rate plus commission on sales
