ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate inside sales and customer service activities daily control call overflow, handle customer complaints.
  • Oversee warehouse supervisors at various will call centers within the region
  • Work with OSR’s to ensure deliveries and help resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Manage and review will call center for overflow and customer service; strive to improve the efficiency, service levels and quality of the branch operation.
  • Manage the distribution function
  • - ensure the efficient operation of various warehouse areas including delivery, receiving, stock replenishment and color studio. P.S. in and truck freight or common carrier issues.
  • Oversee the communication, completion and flow of information to other branches in regards to: stock transfers and direct customer shipments in and out. Review customer service scenarios, operational costs and variances; review and manage the IT investment for maximum usability for the branch.
  • Formulate and recommend efficiencies and operating practices. Implement changes to ensure compliance with corporate and branch policies and objectives.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in preparing short and long range business plans; establish operations budget and ensure that budget goals are achieved and costs are contained.
  • Survey and evaluate general and specific business conditions, make recommendations to the Branch Manager.
  • Promote the hiring, training and retention of qualified, capable, and motivated employees. Ensure prompt and thorough orientation, training, and evaluation of staff at regular intervals.
  • Develop strong relationships with end user departments. Set service level expectations and applications for end user departments.
  • Some travel within the region required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8 years experience required, distribution background preferred.
  • Must possess strong communication, organization, delegation, and PC skills required.
  • Must have a good knowledge of product areas similar to Würth Louis and Company
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and write in English,
  • Ability to handle difficult situations/ dissatisfied customers and deal effectively and harmoniously with various personnel both internally and externally

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required. This is a safety sensitive position
