We are looking for a Sales Account Manager who is looking for an exciting and fast-paced opportunity with our Sales team.

As a key member of our sales team, you will:

  • Understand the market, customers, and competition to develop marketing efforts and leverage sales opportunities
  • Prospect and work with the marketing team and build relationships and cover all sales opportunities
  • Develop strategic sales business plans and maintain expenses set within budgetary guidelines
  • Establish annual and quarterly sales objectives and quota in support of national objectives
  • Meet sales financial objectives by executing tactics outlined in sales plan, forecasting requirements, and identifying and closing potential revenue gaps in advance
  • Meet and/or exceed assigned targets and quotas which are subject to change and are reviewed quarterly.
  • Work through objections, pricing and contract issues to close the deals
  • Maintain a record of activity through email documentation and NetSuite

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales of video or networking/communication equipment, preferably selling technology in the broadcast industry
  • Ability to develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers by providing integrity and responsiveness
  • Understanding of television stations ownership and broadcast groups
  • Understanding of IP networking and blending
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Must be comfortable interfacing at all levels of customer organizations
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Self-disciplined and able to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Proven sales track record, including strong retention/renewals/recurring revenue customer base
  • Persuasive; strong presentation skills to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Working knowledge of broadcast television station layouts and ENG workflows
  • Experience with preparing and negotiating contracts, leasing and rental agreements
  • Experience selling subscription-based services, software products, and hardware solutions (IT-focused)
  • Experience with solution and service sales
