Our client, a geo-structural engineering design company and a manufacturer of foundation solutions, is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding customer base and distribution network.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and leadership.
This role is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and providing entrepreneurial sales and marketing leadership to foster the expansion of the company’s business. A successful candidate will steer the direction and execution of a robust sales and marketing strategy, facilitating the achievement of growth targets while enhancing market presence. This role reports to the President.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Ensure that sales objectives are consistently met
- Establish a sales cadence with relevant KPIs
- Monitor and report on group performance
- Train and cross-train sales professionals to support the company’s growth
- Establish a transparent compensation model for the sales staff, driving activity management, revenue generation, profitability and customer acquisition and retention
- Build the company presence through website, social media, and other marketing tools
- Create account plans and provide guidance to team members in crafting account plans when necessary
- Take an active, hands on role in leading and participating in sales activities
- Analyze market territory competition and industry trends
- Establish revenue targets, participate in the budgeting process, and ensure the implementation of appropriate sales reporting procedures
- Utilize an established network of executives in the industry and within related industries to expand the company’s presence, foster relationships, and drive sales growth
Your strengths include:
- Proven track record in driving growth through increased market exposure
- Familiarity with piling equipment
- Ability to travel within Canada and the US
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM systems
