Job Overview

This role focuses on growing and developing business opportunities in the building automation sector. Your expertise in building automation systems and ability to consult on and close complex deals will help optimize customers' operational efficiency while creating a safe, sustainable workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scopes of work for building automation proposals, providing solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and end-users to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and execute sophisticated deals within established guidelines, ensuring meeting booking and profit goals.
  • Analyze customer requirements from drawings, specifications, and meetings to provide innovative solutions that offer cost savings.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive pre-construction opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently forecasting and delivering on order intake.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their building systems are optimized to meet business objectives.
  • Attend industry events and participate in professional organizations to expand your network and represent the company.
  • Collaborate with operations, legal, finance, and other internal teams to close deals and support customer success.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience within building automation, commercial HVAC, or large construction projects.
  • 4+ years of sales experience within the building automation industry or related fields.
  • Experience with strategic sales planning and account development.
  • Strong knowledge of building automation systems, including financial expertise to independently estimate and sell technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Local and stable work history within the building automation industry or related fields such as HVAC or commercial construction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,946.00 - $100,000.00 per year
