We are looking for a hard-working and result oriented District Sales Manager to manage the sales operations and to lead the achievement of our company sales goals.

The District Sales Manager’s responsibilities include identifying professional development opportunities for sales employees, encouraging positive employee relations, leading an inclusive work environment and continually growing the business, as well as setting sales targets for the district sales team and ensuring that those targets are met.

To be successful as a District Sales Manager, you should be able to keep the pulse on evolving market trends and consumer needs. Ultimately, an exceptional candidate will work well under pressure, demonstrating excellent management, communication, and customer service skills.

Salary Range: 110,000-130,000
Here is a brief list of what you will be working on:
  • Coaching, developing and performance management of Business Development Representatives
  • Leading the sales team in territory analysis and annual planning
  • Target setting and cascading for sales team
  • Preparing and executing daily, weekly & monthly District Meetings
  • Execution of National sales strategy and standards – distribution, promotion and merchandising
  • Delivering against business targets for the district (volume, share, distribution, profit, cost management)
  • Developing strategic choices and resource allocation within the district
  • Budget management and Data management

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • A university degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field
  • Sales Management experience within CPG or beverage industry. Related package goods or beverage alcohol marketing experience, an asset
  • Experience leading & developing teams
  • Category management knowledge
  • Understanding of trade math (ROI, margin, markup, days inventory)
  • Advanced Excel & problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
