Job Description
The Technical/Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for the profitable and sustainable growth of the assigned sales territory within the Animal Nutrition business, through new client relationships and current account expansion. The Technical/Commercial Sales Representative’s focus is on feed additives and nutritional health solutions, as well as feed ingredients, and specialty ingredients. With an in depth understanding of industry trends and the competitive marketplace, the Technical/Commercial Sales Representative is tasked with identifying and providing innovative solutions to customers’ animal nutrition needs.
Provides focused and productive communication within the sales department, within the company and with our clients.
Works with the Sales Team to develop sales strategies and programs.
Monitors sales performance and provides status updates and other reporting documents.
Utilize technical expertise to demonstrate value as part of selling process.
Assists with pricing, promotions and other marketing activities including trade show and industry event participation.
A business or agriculture degree/diploma or equivalent experience
Self-motivated, high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook
Be able to lead by example, foster collaboration and drive win-win outcomes for customers, and coworkers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
