Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team. In this bilingual role, you will manage and grow strategic national and global accounts, with a focus on the automotive sector. This position offers the opportunity to work with a global organization, deliver innovative logistics solutions, and contribute to the success of key customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement managers, supply chain directors, and executives, within customer organizations.
- Identify customer needs and proactively deliver innovative logistics solutions tailored to those requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams across operations, customer service, and pricing to ensure seamless execution of customer expectations.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers, addressing concerns, assessing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to anticipate risks and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and presentations, showcasing the company’s logistics capabilities and value proposition.
- Collect and analyze customer information for RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and ensure effective handover and implementation to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably with a focus on national or global customers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive market, including key players, industry regulations, and logistics requirements.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale accounts and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional bilingual communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
