Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, project management, and customer relationship management, with a keen understanding of market trends.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company goals.
- Identify and follow up on sales opportunities using a structured approach
- Create and execute on sales strategies in order to achieve individual sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
- Conduct cold calls to initiate sales opportunities, following up with regular frequency, showcasing Capital Foodservice value and offerings to grow interest and captures sales opportunities;
- Stay up to date on market trends
- Act as a liaison to initiate new customer applications, new product listing requests, routing challenges, resolve concerns, and to ensure the overall satisfaction of the Customer;
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of customer relationship management practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a current driver’s license and own vehicle;
- Ability to work independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset;
