Right now, we need a Regional Account Manager based in California to lead our regional chains in the Southwest. This individual should be intellectually curious, hungry to drive results, analytically inclined and passionate about building relationships. We’re looking for someone who elevates execution, delivers distribution fast to market, and engages customers with great storytelling!

What You'll Do:
- Develop and nurture value-enhancing strategic partnerships with all accounts.
- Lead and manage promotions, distribution, innovation, sales, and pricing initiatives for our brands at chain accounts to achieve growth objectives.
- Liaison all National Account activity for the region by communicating information via a monthly newsletter for Field Sales and Distributors. Point person for designated chain accounts on Region Field Sales Team calls.
- Develop account plans and evaluate results of pricing, distribution, and space initiatives.
- Work closely with field sales, marketing, and wholesalers to align with Pabst strategy, increase visibility, and implement, manage, & track execution.
- Utilize sales tools (Nielsen/Spectra and internal) to analyze, develop, and execute strategic sales plans to increase profitability and sales for products and buyers.
- Schedules and conducts regular sales calls with customers including business reviews and programming proposals.
- Manage the communication of expectations and timelines among the customer and distribution partner including product release schedules, volume forecasts, pricing, distribution targets, and support materials.
- Conduct frequent surveys to ensure accurate pricing and programing is executed per quality standards.
- Develop annual budget plans by account – track and report progress.
- Submit administrative forms as needed among both chains and area distributors.
- Ability and willingness to participate in a myriad of customer-facing events such as festivals, store tastings, beer dinners, brewery tours, educational seminars, etc.
- Responsible for always maintaining a professional demeanor and presentation – including situations in which alcohol is present.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
What You'll Need:
- 3-5 years of sales experience within the beer industry with 2-3 years of experience calling on Chain Retailers.
- Passion for the beer industry at large and associated culture.
- High “Beer IQ” and insatiable thirst for knowledge of beer, brewing processes, and trade information.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Advanced public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively remotely.
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time to call on regional accounts.
- High level of expertise in analyzing syndicated data and making information-based recommendations.
- Experience with wholesaler network/processes as well as with chains across multiple channels.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Travel, a valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle is required for this position. The person in this role will be eligible to enroll in our vehicle reimbursement program, where you will receive a fair and accurate reimbursement for the business use of your personal vehicle.
This role can be based in San Diego, Los Angeles, or Sacramento, CA. The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 plus bonus (based on experience).
