**Business Development/Sales Manager**
Overview
We are a family owned and operated transportation company since 2001, opening a logistics / freight forwarding department in 2007.
We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, inside sales/outside sales, account management, and sales management within the transportation industry. If you are passionate about driving sales growth and fostering lasting customer relationships, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing current relationships, identifying new business opportunities and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
You will work alongside our customer service/operations team to generate new leads and work collaboratively.
You must have an existing client base/book of business.
The candidate must be a self starter and have the ability to manage your current customer base, with support from our operations team in the office.
The role specifics and pay structure will be customized to the individual and discussed at an in-person meeting. In addition, extras including car allowance, phone, computer, benefits will all be discussed.
Experience Minimum 1 year sales in the transportation industry
MUST have your own established customer base
