Responsibilities:
· You will be responsible for maximizing sales of new and used construction equipment, utility equipment and tools, and any other products offered by the company within the assigned territory.
· 80% New Business Development; 20% Account Management
· You will complete the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
· Identify potential clients and nurture relationships with both current and prospective customers through face-to-face meetings and on-site visits.
· Create comprehensive sales strategies, as well as marketing and promotional plans, tailored specifically for the territory.
· Manage your territory from your home office and customer visits
· You will report to the VP of Sales
Experience/Skills:
· 3+ years of construction equipment or heavy machinery sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets
· Knowledge and understanding of the construction or equipment rental industry
· You have a strong hunter-focused mentality
· You have the desire to succeed, hit targets, and grow revenues
· Highly motivated, organized, and self-sufficient
· Motivated by an industry-leading compensation plan
· Must have a valid license and a clean driver’s abstract
Compensation Package:
· Above industry average salary
· Uncapped Commission Plan and additional bonus’
· On Target Earnings Year 1 - $120,000 - $150,000
· On Target Earnings Year 2 - $150,000 - $250,000+
