JOB NAME: Medicare Internal Sales Agent
LOCATION: Tampa, Florida - Hybrid
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
PAY RATE: $50K/year base salary plus commission, with car/cell phone allowance
DESCRIPTION: As a Medicare Internal Sales Agent in the healthcare industry, you will be responsible for selling products and services to Medicare eligible individuals in the Pinellas and Polk counties of Florida. You'll build long-term relationships with customers and external business partners, explaining various insurance policies and products, and guiding clients to select coverage that best meets their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact prospective clients about insurance products and policies.
- Meet with potential clients to discuss existing insurance coverage and financial resources.
- Explain various insurance policies and products to potential and existing clients.
- Develop sales strategies to meet targets and generate leads.
- Schedule individual meetings and group presentations from assigned/self-generated leads.
- Maintain up-to-date information about leads and sales activities.
- Customize sales presentations to communicate product features, benefits, and differences.
- Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and guidelines.
- Assist prospective members with applications and enrollment processes.
- Provide input to sales leadership on opportunities to improve products/services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in Medicare Advantage Plans, with 5+ years preferred.
- Active Florida Health & Life Insurance Licenses.
- Ability to establish relationships with community partners.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile applications.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
- Must reside in the Tampa area.
