Job Description
As Senior Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) you will be joining the team of our Conceptum Logistics branch office in Houston (Texas). Our established regional team of project logistics professionals focus on creating and closing new opportunities in both segments – general and projects. As a strategic thinker, this position will leverage deep industry knowledge and proven negotiation skills to cultivate long-term partnerships with key clients, identify and secure high-value opportunities, and consistently surpass revenue goals. 75% of travel is required.
The Conceptum Logistics Group is specialized in project logistics. We develop individual transport solutions for our customers and transport freight – no matter how large or heavy – to the most remote regions of the globe. Founded in 2002, we have a variety of clients on all continents and are represented at many locations worldwide with our own branch offices (USA, India, China, Finland, Spain, Germany, Colombia, Peru, Canada, Turkey and Uzbekistan included). Many years of experience abroad, reliable planning, proactive response times, short decision-making, and a “hands-on” focus, ensure long-standing relationships with our customers.
YOUR TASKS
- Drive sales & client value for assigned accounts.
- Analyze client needs & tailor logistics solutions.
- Lead negotiations & secure ROI for complex solutions.
- Build trust & exceed expectations with key decision-makers.
- Coach & develop junior team members.
- Identify new business & develop go-to-market strategies.
- Manage accounts for exceptional client satisfaction & repeat business.
- Collaborate internally for seamless client experience & project success.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's in Business (related field considered). A combination of education and experience to qualify for this position.
- 10+ years sales experience (5+ in senior logistics, international preferred).
- Proven sales & revenue growth record.
- Leads complex negotiations & secures high-value contracts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, & interpersonal skills (English fluency, Spanish a plus).
- Deep logistics knowledge (transportation, trade regs, supply chain complexities, international preferred).
- Strong analytics & problem-solving (data-driven insights).
- CRM & sales tool proficiency.
- Strategic thinker with strong work ethic & time management (frequent travel required).
