Katie May special occasion is sold at top retailers such as Nordstrom, Revolve, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and Free People. #PROUDMOM

The Senior Account Manager will spearhead our sales efforts by developing and executing comprehensive strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals. This role will focus on expanding our customer base through existing accounts, forging new retail partnerships, and driving the success of our direct-to-consumer business. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales leader with strong industry relationships and a proven track record of achieving aggressive growth targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account Management: Cultivating and expanding relationships with existing accounts in the contemporary market.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Sales Strategy: Developing and executing effective sales strategies, including seasonal planning, forecasting, and pricing.
  • Product Presentation: Creating compelling sales presentations and product assortments that resonate with buyers.
  • Market Analysis: Staying up-to-date on industry trends and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and merchandising, to ensure smooth operations and product delivery.
  • Travel: Traveling to customer meetings and industry events as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in the contemporary women’s apparel industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms with retail partners.
  • Deep understanding of the wholesale and retail landscape, including key industry players and trends.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and influence decisions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with apparel CRM/PLM systems (AIMS is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the women’s contemporary fashion industry.
  • Established relationships with key buyers and retail partners.
  • Proven success in achieving aggressive growth targets in both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay
