Business Development Representative (Mining)
Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 + Uncapped Commissions

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (3-4 days/week on the road)
Location: Brampton, ON (GTA territory)

As a Business Development Representative, you'll work closely with mining engineers and to develop new business opportunities, focusing on relationship-building and market expansion. Your role will involve understanding complex technical products and effectively communicating their value to clients, primarily in the construction and engineering sectors.

Your Role:
As a Business Development Representative, you'll work closely with mining engineers and to develop new business opportunities, focusing on relationship-building and market expansion. Your role will involve understanding complex technical products and effectively communicating their value to clients, primarily in the construction and engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business Opportunities: Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders in the mining sector, including mining engineers, EPC accounts, and owners, to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Demonstrate Leadership: Take ownership of your role and lead initiatives within an autonomous environment while collaborating effectively with a team of highly skilled colleagues.
- Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our product's market solutions and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Engage Stakeholders: Foster continuous engagement with stakeholders to establish, convert, and uphold engineering standards relevant to our product offerings.
- Mining Industry Experience: Extensive experience within the mining industry, particularly in sales roles targeting mining engineers, EPC accounts, and owners.
- Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of success in sales, including account management, target achievement, and closing complex deals at the engineering and owner levels.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a professional demeanor and appearance, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Commerce (BCOM). Master's degree considered advantageous.
