Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is a critical part of the successful sales operations in our dealership. In addition to being the frontline management representative for our customers, they are directly responsible for all aspects of their sales teams’ performance. By necessity, the Sales Manager must be an energetic, organized, charismatic and leadership-driven person. Most importantly, the Sales Manager must adapt their duties to fit the job’s current demands.
Responsibilities:
Hiring, training, motivating, counselling, and monitoring the performance of all sales employees.
Engaging and motivating the Sales Team to set and achieve goals and performance expectations.
Managing the negotiation and financing processes with Sales Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
Managing the sales department.
Inventory management, including stocking, merchandising, pricing and the reconditioning process.
Assisting in managing controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments
Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.
Appraising vehicles for trade
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 5 years Dealership Sales experience, preferably Sales Manager experience.
Exceptional ability to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other sales processes.
Intelligent, enthusiastic, performance-driven, outgoing, and full of positive energy
Passionate about customer retention and CSI.
Proven success with determining monthly and yearly forecasts.
Performance driven with a need to succeed.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
Valid driver’s license.
