Job description
Classic Fire + Life Safety is looking for a dynamic and strategic Regional Service Sales Manager to oversee the outside sales team (Account Managers) across branches throughout Ontario. Responsible for sales growth, expanding relationships with existing customers, and growing new business across fire alarms, sprinklers, kitchen suppression, extinguishers, hoses and special hazard systems. Depending on the candidate's skills, the Regional Service Sales Manager will also act in a functioning sales capacity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, accountability and guidance to the sales team to ensure they exceed our customers’ needs and expectations. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Provide management, leadership and guidance to our outside sales staff (Account Managers) of Classic Fire + Life Safety
- Recruit and retain a highly engaged and effective sales team to achieve growth targets in the
- Work with senior service leadership in establishing growth objectives and strategies around the execution of those
- Partner with the contracting division to convert new installation projects into service
- Work with senior service leadership in establishing special pricing for clients
- Establish and maintain a productive working
- Implement sales targets, goals, and objectives with each salesperson in alignment with annual growth
- Ensure departmental standard operating procedures are adhered to and updated if/when
- Ensure staff have the resources and training to perform their jobs/duties effectively.
- Provide coaching and mentoring and conduct evaluations of sales staff to achieve high
- Review and update Sales staff performance plans as
- Escalation point from sales staff for issues, concerns, and complaints from
- Work closely with other Directors and Managers.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Service Sales.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading and recruiting sales staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience in the fire protection industry as a sales representative or manager is a must
- Experience in service-centric labour-based industries as a sales representative or manager, an asset
- Proven track record of working in a high-paced, service-based environment
- Detailed oriented and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills & work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers
- Efficient with client-management software and Microsoft 365
- Ability to travel between branches
