Job Description

Parts for Trucks has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, we serve clients coast to coast. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager for our Off-Road and Mining sectors.

Reporting to the Vice President of Parts Sales & Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the off-road and mining sectors. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and achieve sales targets.

Details:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for off-road and mining industries to expand market share and meet sales targets.
  • Manage relationships with target accounts, acting as the main point of contact and building rapport with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain customer-centric approach in providing truck parts and service solutions, fostering corporate-level relationships.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing accounts by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with large customers, addressing potential pain points and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between customers’ needs and operational improvement targets for the operations team.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and conditions of contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales & marketing, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferably 10+ years of industry-related sales or management experience (e.g., parts, tires, fuel, or other industrial sectors).
  • Experience in servicing national transportation customers with vocational or heavy-duty fleets.
  • Demonstrated skills in contract negotiation, pricing, and relationship building, along with strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and experienced with CRM software.
  • Bilingual in English & French is advantageous but not required.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.

This is a full-time position, with general hours of work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Regular overnight travel will be required, along with additional hours and scheduling flexibility. We offer a competitive compensation package, including group benefits, retirement savings plan, and employee assistance program. Earnings will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
