Managing Director - Structured Capital Solutions

We are looking for a Structured Products Managing Director to support the Alternative Capital Platform that specializes in creating new loan products and delivering various agency and proprietary debt products to multifamily clients including but not limited to direct sponsors, financial institutions, and funds. This position is based in New York, NY.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, support, and expand new and existing institutional relationships by collaborating with a business leader and Senior Managing Director with existing and new institutional contacts.
• Partner with Senior Managing Director to drive new securitization client business development activities, particularly with respect to institutional clients, including banks and debt funds.
• Prospect for new partner relationships including identifying and procuring target clients, banks, and direct relationships. Sell agency and private securitization products.
• Work in conjunction with a team to size, screen, model, and generate options for securitization offerings.
• Lead and participate in cash flow tie-outs, build a cash flow model library, and ensure data quality. Ensure robust cash flow analytics models from scratch to project portfolio performance.
• Lead and contribute to the development of materials for investor presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal deal terms and effective risk management.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
• Proven track record in structured finance, securitization, and modeling within the real estate industry (10+ years).
• Existing client base or proven experience developing client relationships.
• Strategic mindset focusing on business development and account management process.
• People management experience preferred.
• Ability to balance multiple objectives and self-direct activities to accomplish objectives.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $300,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
