Job Description

Our reputable well-positioned client, a supply chain services and freight forwarding company, is looking to hire an experienced Account Manager, Freight and Logistics, to be a valued member of the front-line sales management team who'll focus on expanding the company's international accounts portfolio, will increase sales and establish international markets strategies.

We are looking for a passionate sales leader to be a brand promoter who will grow the network of international clients, will build connections and relationships with procurement industry leaders and facilitators to offer tailored client-focused solutions.

This individual will manage a mixed sales funnel of short-term, mid-term, and long-term prospects that align with the clients’ needs and develop opportunities through discovery of client challenges due to current provider or market (industry, regulatory, geographic) gaps.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce, MBA, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of sales experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with the transportation industry, freight, international logistics, international or global accounts.
  • Proficient in negotiations with customers including contracts development, contracts renewal and rates or service fee development and implementation.
  • Communication professional with strong teamwork skills, able to market new lines of business or company features.
  • Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM.
