Hybrid Technical Sales Representative- Permanent
About Our Client:
Our client has is a privately owned company that designs, builds, inspects and maintains lifting, material handling, and fall protection systems equipment.
Technical Sales representatives are skilled sales personnel who specialize in scientific or technological products. The role of a technical sales executive is to promote and sell company products by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of the product as well as its uses and benefits.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Technical Sales Representative:
The primary duties and responsibilities of theTechnical Sales Representative role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sourcing potential new customers.
- Maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
- Traveling to the customer's location to talk about our product range.
- Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.
- Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
- Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.
- Maintaining strong customer relations.
- Attending product training courses and seminars.
- Meeting sales targets.
What You Should Have, as a Technical Sales Representative:
- Master’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Previous experience as a sales executive.
- Strong knowledge of scientific and technical products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and Office Software.
- Office setting
- Frequent use of computer and office equipment
- Some travel may be required
- PPE may be required for site visits
- Conversing with customers often
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $75,000 - $80,000 + commission
- 3 weeks’ vacation

The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm flexible start end time
- Hybrid role
- Mileage, Cell, Computer, Printer etc. are all covered by the company

- Offices in London and Ayr hiring for either office
