Job Description

Established state-wide sign company seeking an Account Manager with the highest-level of customer service experience for the Houston area. D&R is not a “normal” sign shop. We work directly for nationwide Marketing Directors, mainly in the homebuilding industry. We do not do retail work!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

We prefer sign, reprographics or homebuilding experience but it’s not a requirement. At a minimum:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Office skills/MS Office (Including Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Read a measuring tape
  • Clean driving record and license
  • Visual thinker
  • Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • And of course - excellent customer service skills

**This position does require daily driving in the greater Houston area, visiting jobsites and clients, in a company provided vehicle(after initial training period)
