SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Account Manager to drive growth within our existing Select LTC Pharmacy customer base. This role is crucial in expanding accounts, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring strong relationships with our clients. The Account Manager will work closely with sales, operations, customer services and other internal teams to maximize customer success and revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within existing customer accounts.
  • Build rapport with clients, gather and analyze feedback, and leverage external data to help improve internal operations.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new customers to ensure a seamless transition and strong start.
  • Act as a bridge between sales and operations to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research on current accounts to identify growth opportunities and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage contract renewals and reduce customer churn.
  • Gather insights into competitors to refine strategies and better serve clients.
  • Work with customer service department, operations, marketing, to align on customer needs and service offerings.
  • Identify inefficiencies in customer interactions and suggest improvements to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in organizing customer-focused events, training sessions, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customers to build success stories that can be used in sales efforts.
  • Address potential customer concerns before they escalate.
  • Work with leadership to map out key accounts, identify decision-makers, and develop long-term growth strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success is preferred
  • Background and knowledge in healthcare is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Proven ability to think strategically and proactively solve problems
  • Ability to analyze customer data to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams to drive customer success
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain a level of confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong professional writing and verbal skills in English for customer correspondence, reporting, and documentation
  • Ability to adapt to new systems or processes

Physical Requirements

Ability to safely operate a vehicle for client meetings; Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods while working on a computer; Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via email; Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (e.g., documents, office supplies, etc.).
