As our company continues to evolve, we are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team. This role bridges the gap between our technical products and sales needs of our clients by helping to support the sales process through technical expertise, product demonstrations, and solution design. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales/business development team to understand customer requirements, configure and present solutions, and showcase the value of our software products to potential clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- ·Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose tailored software solutions that address their business challenges.
- Configure, Test and Deliver compelling product presentations and live demonstrations to both current clients and prospects, highlighting key features, benefits, and capabilities of the software.
- Design technical solutions based on customer requirements, including creating architecture diagrams, workflows, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential customers throughout the sales cycle, addressing any technical inquiries or concerns.
- Assist the sales team in the preparation of detailed RFP (Request for Proposal) responses, technical proposals, and solution specifications.
- Conduct customer discovery sessions and workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
- Stay updated on new product features, integrations, and releases to provide accurate and relevant information during sales conversations.
- Support clients with technical issues during trial phases, assisting with installations, configurations, and integrations.
- Work closely with the product and development teams to provide customer feedback and insights that help improve product offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software systems, networking, enterprise solutions, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with programming languages and APIs is a plus.
- Abilityto understand the sales process and align technical solutions with customer pain points.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to identify customer challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience delivering product demos and technical presentations to prospects and customers.
- 3-5 years of experience in a software pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), presentation tools, and virtualization technologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Associate, etc.) are advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
