Lead Technical Solutions Consultant
Use your recognized subject matter expertise to drive growth in the Midstream and Upstream Oil & Gas segments in Americas pole influencing customers toward Honeywell solutions. As Lead Technical Solutions Consultant you will provide both external and internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will drive cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations. You may consult prospective users on product capability. You may provide valuable input for product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pre-sales activities together with sales team in front of customers to define the best technical solution for customers in the Midstream and Upstream Oil &Gas segments
- Support site walks to collect information and data for customers to propose the best solution
- Technical presentations about Honeywell portfolio to new customers and support BD activities in Americas Pole
- Organize training campaigns about Honeywell offering for new employees
- Demonstrations for customers about Midstream and Upstream solutions across the pole as well as virtually.
- Cross collaboration with Product Managers for enhancement the offering and sharing customer feedback for features demanded in the market
- Provide technical support for proposals and coordinate engineering support for optimize labor in pursuits
- Help to identify opportunities with new and existent customers
YOU MUST HAVE
- +10 years of experience in automation solutions and related verticals (Midstream & Upstream)
- Strong customer facing skills
- In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies
- + 5 years of experience in Oil &Gas segments
- Availability to travel 20-30% of time for customer and site meetings across Americas Pole

- Bachelors Degree
- Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
- Experience in technical writing and preparation of proposals
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Spanish, Portuguese and French skills
- Master degree
- Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
- Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers
