Today, Intellijoint technology lives in the operating room helping surgeons improve implant positioning during hip and knee replacement surgeries. Our technology has been used in over 25,000 surgeries - helping us to gain real-world feedback from patients and surgeons to improve our products. We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our West US Sales Team in Houston to join in our growth to bring innovative technologies to the market. The Position As a member of the West US Sales Team with Intellijoint Surgical, you take pride in driving business forward through relationship development, providing outstanding customer service and committing to closing sales opportunities. The Sales Consultant will grow the Intellijoint Surgical user base in the Houston territory and will drive Intellijoint’s sales growth through the generation and execution of opportunities within the region. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing the number of new hospitals, surgery centres and surgeons using Intellijoint products while assuring the increased utilization of products within existing accounts.  As a snapshot, we are looking for someone who is: * Experienced in acquiring new business in the medical technology, medical device and/or orthopedics market. * Fierce, ambitious, and driven by an uncapped commission plan which pays for performance. * A true “hunter” that understands the process and structure in order to achieve strong results. * A strong sales consultant who thrives in a team environment. Main Duties: * Develop and utilize strategies that focus on the growth of new and existing opportunities in the assigned region. * Own the full cycle sales process from generating leads to closing deals and following up with accounts to ensure the successful adoption of our products.  * Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives while working in partnership with sales management to achieve and exceed objectives. * Introduce new technology that the end user has not used before, clearly articulating value proposition. * Own new vendor approvals with the goal of getting Intellijoint Surgical approved at new facilities. * Deliver of a consultative sales approach.  * Represent Intellijoint Surgical during a surgeon’s initial surgical procedure to ensure value and complete the sale. * Manage active accounts and develop new users and facilities within approved networks. * Convey customer feedback to Product Management and Research & Development. * Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to Intellijoint products and related procedures, including the delivery of one-on-one training sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums. Skills and Experience to Enable Success: * Experience working in the medical device, medical technology or orthopaedics industry. * 3+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding targets. * Act as a role model to selling colleagues and actively participate in maintaining a culture of selling excellence. * Skilled in business communications, sales presentations, influencing without formal authority, and the ability to understand and articulate the value of the company’s products in both clinical and economic terms. * Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to use a methodical approach to selling within unique hospital and surgical settings. * Ability to use different methods as a means of gaining access. * Ability to navigate challenges, understand roadblocks and “no” answers while adapting to these responses. About the role: As a Sales Engineer, you will be working closely with our sales, implementation, and product teams to deliver world-class solutions to our customers. On the pre-sales side, you will be working with Sales Managers to define Statements of Work, build integration strategies, and answering complex technical questions around Cloud and Cyber Security. In this role, you will take ownership of the demo environment to ensure a seamless experience for potential customers. You will liaise with the CIO/CTO’s and Head of IT at existing and potential customers. You will be the technical voice of the customer by channeling to the Director of Engineering future technical requirements and trends that may impact our technical roadmap. You will facilitate the technical handoff between the sales and implementation team.
