Carrier Relations Specialist – Domestic Canada and Cross Border USA

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a strong business partnership at all levels with external carriers
Display top-notch customer service skills when answering inbound inquiries from carriers
Work closely with internal partners (account management, operations, or leadership) on shipment updates, problem resolution and/or operational execution.
Manage and monitor the carrier base
Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum 3 years related experience with cross border and Canadian domestic shipments
Self-driven individual with ability work autonomously
Ability to strive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written & verbal communication
Very good interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
Analytical, data analysis, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
