About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing new advisors, enhance their sales toolkit, manage sales performance metrics and have a strong network. This position will collaborate closely with District Managers, Recruiting Specialist and the National Advisor Experience Manager to enhance advisor success and drive overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with District Managers and advisors to fully understand the needs of all parties and ensure alignment in sales strategies and objectives
- Work with the advisor population to develop best in class business plans, communicating effective prospecting methods and other relevant business building activities
- As part of the new advisor onboarding process, hold advisors accountable for their daily activities to ensure they are performing optimally for success
- Analyse and manage sales performance metrics, providing actionable feedback to advisors and management, as well as identifying improvements to recruitment and training strategies
- Assist in the development and enhancement of sales tools and resources, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, to streamline sales processes and improve advisor efficiency
- Collaborate with District Managers throughout the recruitment process to provide insights on selection of new advisors
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5-10 year track record of successful sales practice in the financial services sector, preferably in life insurance
- University Degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP)
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, with the ability to transfer that knowledge through joint field work and coaching / performance discussions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Demonstrated ability to analyse performance metrics and translate data into actionable strategies
Nice to Haves:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Health Specialist (CHS), and / or Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC)
