Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
- Drive group sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries
- Lead and manage the efficient sale of guest room nights and room rentals within the Sales & Catering Division
- Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless account servicing
- Build and nurture strong relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, and businesses
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to exercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisions
Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Two years Hospitality Sales and/or Convention Service experience preferred
- Previous Sales experience required
- Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
