Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving sales growth, and developing strong relationships with clients in the Industrial Weighing and Measurement sector.
Duties
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through warm calling and networking.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share and driving revenue growth.
- WORK SAFELY – Accidents are preventable.
- Sales marketing, promotion and follow-up activities to generate sales of industrial scales, weighing systems, laboratory balances and force measurement equipment.
- Meet sales goals set forth by the sales manager or supervisor.
- Meet ISO 9001 Quality Management System objectives and follow processes
- Demonstrate equipment to end-users when necessary.
- Create Sales Quotations
- Report on the status of accounts and transactions
- Follow up on company provided or factory provided sales leads.
- Be a source G.T. Michelli for information from the field relating to safety, products, competitors, markets, etc.
- Attend sales training sessions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for salesman.
- Occasionally assist service personnel with installations.
- Use of a CRM system to log customer data
Skills
- Minimums 3 years of experience in account management in industrial sales.
- Proven track record of managing complex accounts, achieving growth goals, and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of electronic and
- mechanical concepts.
- Read and understand sales equipment specifications and basic technical manual procedures.
- Able and willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.
- Be a positive company brand representative and exemplify the values of integrity, initiative, teamwork, quality, leadership, accountability.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Pass a Pre-Employment Background Screen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenge
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software.

- Must be able to safely lift and walk 50 feet with 50 pounds.
- Work outdoors in cold and hot temperatures.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing

- Travel is required via company vehicle. The general travel area is within 100 mile radius of the office with some exceptions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
