Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage complex selling situations using strategic and conceptual selling
principles to drive growth.
- Build strong personal relationships with customers and prospects at all levels of the
organization.
- Effectively manage all internal and external communication related to existing business and
new business on-boarding.
- Identify, understand and communicate customer, industry and end-user needs to the
organization.
- Participate in pricing and contract analysis, evaluations and negotiations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and project timing.
- Advanced analysis of the industry to ensure that targets, priorities, and the overall activities of
the sales organization achieve planned volume of sales.
- Drive and own the full sales cycle for new (80%) and existing clients (20%)
- Meeting and exceeding defined monthly financial and volume projections
- Utilizing marketing tools to promote company programs and services
- Apply applicable sales tools effectively including prospect database and forecasting
worksheets to plan, communicate and document progress
- Maintain a log of business activities for the month to be reviewed by management
- Creating detailed proposals and price quotes for new and established business
- Helping prospective customers to create unique and creative branded packaging concepts
- Attending industry related trade shows
- Building strong client relationships
- Prepare weekly reports on new accounts and opportunities
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7-10 years sales experience specifically in the folding cartons industry
- Demonstrated sales aptitude (B2B)
- Excellent time management skills
- Advanced analysis skills to ensure that targets, priorities, and the overall activities of the sales
organization achieve planned volume of sales.
- Prospecting, new business generation and large account management skills
- Passionate, motivated, self-starter that requires minimal oversight and guidance
- Strategic and tactical planner
- Implementing/Decision Making & Negotiation skills
- Superior verbal and written Communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
