- Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship.
- Increase sales in respective accounts.
- Prepare sales information for customers.
- Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
- Manage daily Operation of the Houston Service Branch
- Maintain Branch Sales Goals and Budget
- Provide performance feedback
- Serve as Hiring Manager for the Branch and add or remove manpower as needed.
- Provide training and mentoring to developing managers
- Bring in new customers and create estimates/delegate Project Management and scheduling of jobs

Supervisory Responsibility This position supervises the Service Technicians
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary.
Travel
Other than the office you will visit job sites.
Job Sites can be in multiple locations and out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
- Licenses: Current Driver’s License and must have own reliable transportation.
- High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
- Current Journeyman License with TDLR
- Must have an acceptable MVR record.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 10 yrs. Electrical Experience
- 3 yrs. Electrical Experience with Service Department
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
