ADP is hiring a Sales Leader as part of our Sales Executive Accelerated program, Small Business division.
As a participant in the Sales Executive Accelerated program, you'll have access to specially curated sales training and leadership development. You will learn everything you need to know about ADP’s products and processes, as well as receive professional development and leadership training. You will have access to mentors who will serve as resources and guides to you throughout your tenure in the program and beyond. Within the program, you will have the opportunity to lead a team selling ADP solutions, including payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits to new and existing clients.

What you'll do: Responsibilities
- Grow Our Business While Growing Your Team's. You will work with your team within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals through the effective use of planned resources.
- Lead Your Team. You will provide overall direction, motivation, and support to your sales team in a designated territory.(You'll also need to ensure that all Sales Associates utilize the Salesforce Automation System and implement an audit procedure to ensure compliance.)
- Recruit, hire, and train sales associates. You will interview, identify, and motivate Sales Associates while providing continuous feedback on performance and coaching. Also, you will help to develop the careers of your team members.
- Represent ADP. You will represent ADP to customers, prospects, and the public by spending time in the field, at trade shows, demonstrations, and seminars. You will stay current on ADP product technology.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Sales Role Model. You have a successful track record of business-to-business sales experience (4+ years). You excel at client interactions and showcase stellar presentation skills.
- People Person and Coach. You're a relationship builder who can connect and motivate people. You will not shy away from delivering performance feedback and coaching to make your team members the best that they can be.
- Trusted Advisor. You live and breathe integrity and deliver on promises…every time.
- Expert Planner. You manage your time well, prioritize deliverables, and are an expert at multitasking. You possess excellent planning skills, which will help you to implement successful sales strategies.
Required Qualifications.
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:
- Highschool Diploma
- 3 + years experience managing a sales team
- 5 + years of proven sales experience as a sales associate with a track record of consistent over-plan performance.
- Tangible field experience managing, mentoring and coaching other associates.
- Has demonstrated outstanding sales, leadership and business planning capability.
- Partners with various business teams to achieve sales, revenue, profit and client retention objectives.
- Experience managing in a process-oriented, metrics-driven, fast-paced, large sales organization.
- Proven ability to effectively lead a team
- Able to lead change.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Experience with assessing client requirements, making recommendations and engaging solutions delivery.
- Experience in a US or international subsidiary environment would be an asset.
- Excellent planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, and written)

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $79,600.00 - $127,100.00 / Year
