Summary of Position
The Aftermarket Sales Executive/Account Manager role is critical to the success of ECI Deacom by forging strong, deep, and lasting business partnerships with our customers. A successful Account Manager (AM) has the skills and motivation to identify the key stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers within a customer organization, and create mutually beneficial relationships with them, while appropriately selling them the right product modules to further aid in their success. An ECI Deacom Account Manager wants to interact with multiple levels and roles within an organization, including, and especially, the Business Owner. An Account Manager will succeed only by engaging in business discussions with customers to understand their future business plans and the opportunities and challenges they face – and then discussing how ECI Decom products and services will help them succeed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Hit your numbers, build awesome relationships, and have fun succeeding with your team
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships within an assigned territory of existing customer accounts in our installed base
- Position, quote and sell the value of our solutions to our installed base of customers
- Meet or exceed license and services quotas on a monthly and yearly basis
- Meet or exceed outbound touch call quotas on a monthly and yearly basis
- Customer site visits – Typically 1 outing per quarter which may include travel
- Mitigate churn risk with effective dispute resolution and by collaborating with Support and Professional Services departments
- Ensure customers recognize and receive value from their maintenance contract
- Identify potential product migration candidates and collaborate with Professional Services to orchestrate those migrations
- A highly-developed ability to influence others (positively & ethically)
- A strong competitor, who also embraces the importance of teamwork and a collaborative culture
- Hard-working, fun-loving human being who has a great sense of humor and connects easily with others
- Software/ERP experience
- Manufacturing industry knowledge
- Account management experience
- Desire, drive and ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

- Ability to identify/define and solve needs/problems, aptitude interacting with multiple levels of customer resources
